JOIN FARMHOUSE
While our history does stem from deep agricultural roots, we have a diverse membership and welcome men from all backgrounds and areas of study to join us on the road to success. We work to build men through our four-fold development: encouraging growth intellectually, spiritually, socially/morally, and physically since 1905.

How is FarmHouse a Builder of Men?
INTELLECTUALLY
FarmHouse maintains high standards of academic excellence. We have three team study rooms, two conference rooms, and a tech center providing plenty of study options. We also offer support to members through payment for tutors, assistance from older members who have taken similar classes, and in-house alumnus tutoring.

SOCIALLY
FarmHouse men are involved in many social events throughout the year. From swing dancing in a barn to participating in Greek events, we strive to reach out to all members of the community. We actively support causes such as Children’s Cancer Connection and Dance Marathon, resulting in lasting relationships with families in the Ames community.

SPIRITUALLY
While FarmHouse is proud of its Christian roots, we respect the diverse beliefs of our members. We sponsor weekly Bible studies and prayer groups in a quiet room within the chapter house. We attend a church service once a semester as a chapter, and many men go to church with their brothers on a weekly basis.
PHYSICALLY
FarmHouse promotes member participation in various intramurals with their new member class, playing basketball with brothers after Monday night chapter, or competing in sporting events during Homecoming and Greek Week. We value wellness and encourage members to stay physically active.
